ANZA bench Black – 120 cmNormal price 13.950 DKK
ANZA is the Japanese term for sitting comfortably, and the Japanese ancestry in Please Wait to be Seated's collection of the same name comes from the designer duo Rui Pereira and Japanese Ryosuke Fukusada. The round, almost floating cushions are designed in the traditional Zabuton style, where cushions are used to sit on the floor, and create a warm atmosphere for both parties and everyday life.
The pattern on the ANZA pouf and bench was designed back in the 18th century, but the fabrics for the ANZA collection have been recreated in a modern version to match the Please Wait to be Seated color palette. The upholstered parts of the collection are available in different materials, and the frame can be chosen in either a high-gloss lacquer inspired by the traditional Japanese Shikki technique or oiled oak. To complete the collection, Pereira and Fukusada have designed an accompanying low coffee table in the same style, equipped with a beautiful marble top.
