Photographer Rikke Westesen and designer and artist Matilde Friese have together created two photo series born from two separate projects. HÅND is part of the exhibition project "What We Carry", which tries to convey some of the personal stories that rejected asylum seekers from the refugee camp in Sjælsmark carry around. The photo project and series BALANCE is an investigation of the malleability of a variety of materials in different compositions. Matilde Friese is an MAA graduate from the Design School of the Art Academy, and Rikke Westesen is a Photographer graduate from Copenhagen Technical School Next.
