This beautiful plate is hand-turned and decorated by a local family in the Romanian town of Horezu. The city is known for its patterned ceramics and especially the glazing technique, which is created using a rotary disc, is characteristic of the area.
The plate is the most beautiful decoration on both a table and on the wall. On the back, small holes have been made, which makes it possible to insert a string so that you can easily hang it up.
The ceramic is fired at a high temperature, but may still be hypersensitive to treatment that goes through in dishwashers. Bowls and dishes can be knocked over and, in the worst case, cracked.
If you want to take care of your ceramics from Horezu, we recommend washing them by hand.
If you choose to use the dishwasher anyway, it should have plenty of space for other items, as impacts can result in splinters or cracking.
Avoid very high temperatures and rapid temperature changes, as this can also damage the glaze.
