Silje Lindrup is a trained glassblower from The National School of Glass in Småland, and currently enrolled at Konstfack in Stockholm, where she studies glass and ceramics. In her artistic work, Silje focuses on creating high-quality objects that, among other things, question how things normally look or function. She pays tribute to organic forms, and with roots in the North Sea, she often draws connections from there in her work. Silje shapes her objects herself in the over 1000 degree hot glass.
