    Kristine works with various techniques and tools within painting, linoleum printing, paper cutting, monotype etc. Her works are inspired by old patterned wallpaper, lace, flowers and plant shapes. She works with well-known motifs that can be varied endlessly. Here, color combinations, as well as incidences of light and shadows help shape these unique works.
      

    The possibility to vary technique, materials and work tools means that these works oscillate between the suggestive expression and the more poetic and quiet dynamic expression. Kristine often starts by creating with a basis of chaos in order to subsequently "clean up" with the help of pure color surfaces, straight lines or repetition of shapes.
