The jar with a lid is handpicked from Japan.
They come from a family-owned store in Tokyo, where the daughter is taking over the business from her old father. The lidded jars are hand painted and therefore all have a unique expression.
The jars are perfect for jewellery, baby teeth, salt etc. The Japanese use them as food accessories, e.g. pickled ginger.
