Denne kop er håndlavet i Istanbul og er fremstillet ved at smelte glas på hårdt stål. Denne teknik kaldes emaljering og i Danmark kender vi den bedst fra det kendte gamle kaffestel 'Madam Blå'.
Hvert produkt er helt unikt og mønstrene kan variere en lille smule. De kan både gå i opvaskemaskine, ovn og fryser og er også meget velegnede til børn eller udendørsaktiviteter, da produkterne er meget hårdføre.

BORNN has a modern and innovative approach to the classic enamel kitchenware that we in Denmark know so well from the 'Madam Blue' coffee set. 

The company was founded in 2015 by the two sisters Basak Onay and Oyku Thurston, who both grew up in Tokyo, Barcelona and Los Angeles – away from their hometown Istanbul. So, throughout their lives, they've been influenced by many cultures and different local crafts. It motivated them to create their own business and return to their Turkish roots.

All BORNN's products are produced in Istanbul by local artisans, and care is taken to strengthen the small community by developing new production techniques while making use of their many years of knowledge and tradition for this particular craft.
